The 2nd graders were able to present their Google Slides presentations this week and they did a fabulous job! They've been working hard for over a week putting together slides about an important influential person throughout history. We sat together and listened to all of the presentations, hearing interesting facts about people like Sally Ride, Ruby Bridges, Teddy Roosevelt, and more! We are so glad both classes got the chance to work together on this project! ❤️

Thank you North Platte Rotary for bringing Josh the Otter to us today. We loved hearing the story about Josh and how to stay safe around water.

Oh no! On a field trip to Mars, the 2nd graders got stuck on Emoji Island! They had to complete 4 reading tasks and show them to the Emoji Queens to escape. Along the way, they collected puzzle pieces, deciphered codes, and some were even sent to the Emoji Ship! In the end, all 9 teams escaped! All of our 2nd graders showed perseverance, grit, and determination in today's challenges. We are so proud of them and had so much fun! #2ndgraderocks
