North Platte High School | Special Education
My name is Tiffany Negley. I am originally from Hastings, Nebraska. I graduated from Adams Central High School. Right out of high school I went to college. I received my Bachelor's degree in Special Education K-12 from UNK. I went on to earn my Master’s in Special Education from UNL and also received the coursework needed to specialize in Transition.
My first teaching job was at Grant High School. I also coached girls golf and was the Circle of Friends coordinator. After working in Grant for 3 years, my family moved to Ogallala. I taught at Ogallala High School for 7 years. Other duties I fulfilled while in Ogallala, was Head Junior Class Sponsor, Co-Prom Sponsor, and Dance Team Sponsor. Currently, I am working at North Platte High School. I started teaching in North Platte in 2007.
I believe that organization is the key to success as well as having a positive attitude and willingness to work. If one believes that they can, they are halfway there. The other half comes from hard work and not giving up even when faced with a challenging task. It is rewarding to see students succeed because of their own hard work and perseverance.
