North Platte Softball is a “1 Pitch Warrior Program”.
Coach Justin Dehmer developed the "1 Pitch Warrior" System for baseball after an 88 game winning streak, leading his team through back to back to back championship titles. The system includes practice plans, drills, mental toughness training, team unity training, and more. Being a 1 Pitch Warrior is about much more than winning on the baseball and softball field, it is about winning the day, making the most out opportunities that come your way good or bad. It’s about learning how to respond to adversity and handle anything that baseball/softball or life has to throw at you.
The 1 Pitch Warrior Mentality is for anyone who wants to attack life and live in the moment. Remember that the past is history, the future is a mystery; we call it the “present” because it is a gift. Here’s to unwrapping the moments in life that you desire but have yet to experience. Good luck on your journey as a 1 Pitch Warrior!

My name is Tiffany LeTourneau. I have lived in North Platte since 2002. I am originally from Temecula, Calif. I am married and have 3 children. I teach 4th grade at Buffalo Elementary School. I played fast-pitch softball for 13 years at a highly competitive level. I was a 4-year varsity starter on my high school team where we finished as state runners-up my junior year. My senior year, my club team finished runner-up at the ASA 18U Gold National Championships. I earned a full-ride scholarship to play softball at Utah State. I have played every position on the field and was a switch hitter, who specialized in slapping.
Hi, my name is Megan Ruppert. I am originally from McCook, Nebraska where I spent 20 years before I left to finish up college. I attended a small rural school called District 8, but then moved to Central Elementary in fifth grade. I continued through the McCook Public School system and graduated from McCook High School in 2013. I attended McCook Community College for two years, where I played softball and received an Associate Degree in Art and Science. I transferred to Concordia-Nebraska in Seward, Nebraska to continue my education and my softball career. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with Secondary English Language Arts being my field endorsement in May of 2018. I just moved to North Platte this summer, and this will be my first year teaching. Along with being a first year teacher I am also Assistant Junior Varsity Softball Coach for the high school.
I look forward to being a part of the North Platte Public School District and beginning my teaching career with the 8th graders at Adams Middle School. I am excited to share my love for English and having the opportunity to prepare them for the future. Being involved in sports myself for all of my life, I am thrilled to be a part of the Lady Bulldog softball coaching staff as well.
