My coaching philosophy stresses the importance of accountability, responsibility, team unity, discipline, preparation, mental toughness, self-confidence, sportsmanship, and a desire to compete. My teams are characterized as very disciplined, well prepared, sportsmanlike and highly motivated to put in an intense effort on the floor every practice and game. We will stress a “We not Me” mentality to get the most out of our team.
We want to play an up-tempo style that is fun for our players and exciting for our fans. Our teams will get up and down the court offensively and apply constant pressure to our opponents defensively. We want to play sideline to sideline, baseline to baseline, and start to finish.
Program Philosophy – Covenants
• WE not ME.
• Play without Fear of Failure
• Control what You Can Control
Effort – Relentless
• Sideline to Sideline
• Baseline to Baseline
• Start to Finish
• Play to Your Strength
• Expect Success
• Toughness Carries Over

My name is Kyle Milton. I am an assistant coach for both the Varsity Football team and Girls Basketball team.
Coaching has always been a passion of mine. Although I love teaching in the classroom, the aspect of being part of a team is one of the best parts of my job.
On the football field, I coach the Wide Receivers and with the basketball team I am the Head Reserve coach and Varsity assistant.
Hello, my name is Jill Faxon. I am originally from Beatrice, Nebraska and graduated from Beatrice High School in 2013. I then continued my academic and athletic career at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. I was apart of the FHSU Women’s Basketball team from 2013-2017...Roll Tiges! During that time I received my Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Teaching and Coaching. 2019 will be by 2nd year teaching K-5 Physical Education at Washington Elementary. I am very blessed to work with such an amazing staff that helps me grow in my profession and as a person. I will be entering my first year of coaching freshman volleyball and my second year of freshman basketball. I am very excited to work with both coaching staffs to help build and grow the programs. Athletics is such a passion of mine and I am glad to be able to give back to something that has taught me so much. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, traveling the world, going to the lake, basically anything that is outdoors or where I can be active. I am excited for another year of teaching and coaching where I can continue to build relationships with students and help them achieve their goals!
