Adams Middle School | Science
My name is Eric Brunz. I am originally from Sutherland, Nebraska and graduated from Sutherland High School. After high school I attended McCook Community College where I was a member of the Men’s Basketball Team and received my Associates Degree. From there I moved on to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. At UNK I received my Bachelor’s degree in Education with a Physical Science Field Endorsement as well as a Coaching Endorsement. After graduation I completed my Masters Degree in Physical Education, also from UNK. During which time, I was a graduate assistant in the Intramural Sports Department.
I am currently teaching 7th grade science at Adams Middle School. I spent my first 10 years as a 7th grade science teacher at Madison Middle School. Throughout that time I have coached several years of middle school football, middle school and high school basketball, and middle school track.
My wife Cathy is a counselor at North Platte High School. We were married in 2009 and have two beautiful children. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, camping, golfing, hunting and following our children around.
I am very honored to be a part of North Platte Public Schools where everyday is a new challenge and an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.
