North Platte High School | Project SEARCH
Hi! I am Dee Tuenge and I am honored to be the Project SEARCH instructor, which is a Transition program for students who are 18-21 within the Special Education Department. This program is located at the Walmart DC 7018 which teaches job, life, and social skills. Our goal is competitive gainful employment upon graduation from the program.
The University of Nebraska at Kearney is where I obtained my degree in K-8 ELED and K-12 SPED. My journey continued on to Doane where I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am blessed in life with my husband, Jeff, with whom we share 6 adult children and 10 grandchildren, so far. I try to balance my life with work, family, faith, travel, and working out.
It takes a Village to raise a child. We at NPPSD have an amazing Village.
