My name is Tracey Kearney. I am originally from the North Platte area, graduated from Maxwell High School in Maxwell, Nebraska. I received my Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with endorsements in Elementary and Secondary Special Education.
I am married to Treg Kearney who is a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad. We have three daughters; two, who are currently attending North Platte Public schools, and our oldest, who graduated from North Platte High School and is pursuing a degree in Education from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
I am a Special Education Teacher at North Platte High School. Before coming to the High School, I was a resource teacher at Buffalo Elementary. My first teaching position was as Title 1 teacher at Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Schools in Sumner, Nebraska.
I believe in having high expectations for all students. All students can learn and grow in a supportive caring environment.
