Washington Elementary | Kindergarten
My name is DaNesa Fleck. I am originally from Kimball, Nebraska and graduated from Kimball High School in 2003. I received my my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an Endorsement in Inclusive Early Childhood Education Birth to grade level 3. I am currently working on my Masters in Administration through University of Nebraska- Kearney.
I am married to Ty Fleck. He is a commercial and residential appraiser here in North Platte and works through Gary McCormick's office. We have one son, Grayson and has started pre-school this year. He loves everything gross and sports related. We also have a lovely huge white lab who we consider part of our family named, Taffie.
I have taught at Washington Elementary since 2011, in the wonderful world that is Kindergarten. Before teaching at Washington, I was a First grade teacher for 3 years in Grand Island, Nebraska at West Lawn Elementary.
I enjoy hanging out with my family, running/exercising, golfing, reading books when I have time, and of course I love a good TV show!
Our mission at Washington Elementary is to ensure that students acquire the knowledge and skills that will prepare them for middle school and high school. We work to be sure our students are happy, respectful, and responsible. We are constantly working with our students to become lifelong learners who understand that the choices they make today will affect their tomorrow. Upon departing our school, every child leaves with positive self-esteem, a love for learning, and the skills necessary to be successful. Our motto is “Believe, Achieve, Succeed!”
