Welcome to North Platte Public Schools Health Services
Student Health Services contribute to the educational success of
each student by promoting a safe and healthy environment for
learning.
Some of the things we do to accomplish this are:

Annual Health Screening

Supervision and training of staff who administer first aid and medications

Monitoring immunizations and enforcing state law regarding immunizations

Control of communicable diseases

Responding to medical emergencies

Health Education
-
Monitoring chronic health conditions while at school
For further information please contact the school nurse assigned to your student's school. there are 3 Registered Nurses who share the responsibilities at all of the schools. The secretary at your school can direct you to the appropriate nurse who will assist you.
School Physicals are required at the following times:
-
1st Day of Kindergarten
-
1st Day of 7th Grade
-
Enrolling form out-of -state (even if previously enrolled in Nebraska)
-
Prior to participation in high school sports and activities
Vision exam is required:

Enrolling from out-of-state (even if previously enrolled in Nebraska)
