Eisenhower Elementary | Kindergarten
My name is Shawna Rowley. I was born and raised in Sidney, Nebraska. In 2010, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Chadron State College, with an endorsement in Special Education. In 2015, I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
After college, I started my career back home in Sidney, as a first grade teacher. I taught for three years in Sidney before moving to North Platte to become a Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching Kindergarten for four years. I enjoy working with the younger kids!
In 2013, I married my husband Josh. He is employed at Dawson Public Power. We have two daughters, Danika and Morgan. We enjoy camping, hunting, watching football and spending time with family. During the summer, we like to go back to Sidney to help my family with wheat harvest.
At a young age I knew I wanted to become a teacher. I enjoy working with children and seeing them grow throughout the school year. I love building a strong relationship with them and showing them that they can do anything they put their minds to. Every year I learn something new from them and it makes me appreciate the small things in life!
