Boys Golf is a spring semester sport. Golf is a sport that participants can compete in their entire life. It is an activity where honesty and integrity are paramount and form the basis a game that started hundreds of years ago in Scotland. By participating in the sport of golf, student athletes learn how to compete interscholastically, the rules, and the etiquette of the game.
Typically, a maximum of 15 students are on the team.
Lake Maloney G.C., River’s Edge G.C., and Iron Eagle G.C. are the three courses that the team will practice on and host home events on basically on a rotation basis, depending on availability and the strengths of the team. Our team would like to thank all three of the courses for their assistance and for their contributions to the success of our teams.
Students participating in golf must have their own set of clubs, balls tees and anything else that they require. It is recommended that they also have a pair of golf shoes, golf glove, a stocking hat, and a rain jacket and pants. The weather in Nebraska is fairly unpredictable.
