The beginning was hard because I had to learn a lot, but it was all worth it. The career internships are such a good thing for everyone. It had opened my eyes and I now look at my future differently. I have more of an idea of exactly what I want to do. I saw everything that a daycare holds and that is what I want.
-Madison C., All Season Daycare Intern
Making an impact on people’s lives is something is part of working at The Flower Market. Whether it be picking out funeral flowers or for significant others, we make people smile and that makes me want to be a florist.
-Madison I., The Flower Market Intern
Working with mixed ages of 3- to 5-year-olds is difficult; when half of the class has language-, social-emotional-, and overall developmental delays children, untrained persons usually run the other way. Mollie is the exact opposite of that. She is an exceptional young adult with a heart for helping young children. This will make her a great addition to the Early Education community.
-Tonni K., Head Start Director/Teacher speaking about her experience with Mollie Combs
It has been an absolute pleasure having Doc in the shop this semester! Doc has proven to be a very intelligent, capable, young man with loads of potential. …Any jobs that I need done, Doc is always ready to lend hand and always does quality work. …Thank you for allowing job shadow opportunities for the community’s youth.
