Mrs. Sabatka is proud to introduce her 2018-2019 Career Internship participants. These students are leaving the comfortable accommodations of NPHS each day to experience real-world occupations that relate directly to their individual skills and interests.

Here are the interns hard at work!

Athletic training interns hard at work for "Your North Platte Bulldogs!" These
young ladies are preparing for a career in sports medicine, athletic training,
physical, and or occupational therapy.

Crystal & Marilese working at the public defender's office to learn about legal services and office management.

Hannah Cook pre-checks patients at Eye Care Professionals before they can be seen by Dr. Green.
Health science and diagnostic services may be in the future for this young professional!

Hunter helps maintain the natural vegetation and install stock tanks at Nebraska Cooperative Republican
Platte Enhancement. Agriculture and Natural Resources are a great career path to follow!

Jack works hard at Enzo Athletic Performance as he learns about health and fitness. Human Sciences is a
wonderful and diverse career field, Jack will be experiencing lots of diversity from personal training to office
management.

Jacob is doing his part to narrow the skilled labor gap that faces our Nation. On this day, Jacob learned
how to remove and replace break rotors at Northside Performance.

Mekennah is learning about inventory, office management, and customer service as she experiences a bit
of everything working at Brown's Shoe Fit Company and representing the Bulldogs!

Jenna creates flower arrangements and provides customer service at The Flower Market. She also helps
with their online marketing. It seems like each of these Bulldogs is learning that these jobs are more than meets the
eye. Jenna learned that much more to this job than making a pretty bouquet!

Bryce is interning at NPPSD Technology Department. The men and women that keep our systems up and
running are tireless and invaluable. I think Bryce is a great addition to the already amazing team!

From the high school to the workplace. Abby is in the community making a difference at Liberty House. Personal
care and the health industry will be at the top of Abby's list after her time at NPHS!
