Jefferson Elementary hosted a Bucket Filler assembly put on by Kelly Nickel. In this assembly, our school was encouraged to "FILL MORE" Buckets and "DIP LESS" from others Buckets.

"Bucket fillers" are those who help without being asked, give hugs and compliments, and generally spread their love and good feelings to others. ... People who "dip" into our bucket often rob us of happy feelings by refusing to help with a task or by saying or doing cruel things.  The bucket is a metaphor for your sense of well-being. Every interaction fills your bucket or drains it. You also have a psychological dipper you use to add to or take away from other people's sense of joy and security – their buckets. The choice is yours.
