Annual PTA Thanksgiving Dinner
The annual PTA Family Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Nov.16th from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. This year PTA is trying something different for the food. Instead of having everyone bring a side dish, they have divided up food by grade levels. Preschool & Kdg families are asked to bring cans of green beans, 1st and 2nd grade families bring dinner rolls, 3rd grade families bring cans of corn, and 4th and 5th grade families are asked to bring desserts. Please have green beans, corn, and dinner rolls to the school by Tuesday, Nov. 14th so that PTA may purchase extra if needed. 4th and 5th grade families need to have desserts to the school by noon on the 16th. PTA is also looking for 4 volunteers to cook and debone a turkey and then separate the white and dark meat. If you are able to do this, please call Jenny Bayne at 308-520-7459. The PTA dinner requires a PTA membership which is $10.00 this year. You can buy a membership at the door. The membership gets your immediate family into the dinner.
