Solar Eclipse of the School
A Solar Eclipse is a very rare occurrence. In fact, it is so rare, that a Solar Eclipse hasn’t passed over the U.S. in 100 years! There are 3 types of Solar Eclipses. There are Total, which is where the moon entirely blocks out the sun. A partial Solar Eclipse is where the moon only partly blocks out the sun. Then there is an Annular, which is where the moon blocks out the sun, but its shadow doesn’t fully reach the Earth. This causes there to be a bright ring around the moon. While one of these natural phenomenon is occurring, birds and animals get confused and think that night time is about to fall.
