From the Principal's Office at Adams
Greetings from the Administration!
We are all excited to be back at school this year. After a day or two, the routine of school began to fall together. It has been great to meet the new 7th graders here at Adams and seeing the 8th graders come back is exciting. They are all getting to be so big. I was glad I could share the experience of viewing the Eclipse with the students. It was a magical moment that I hope we all carry with us for the entire year. Students took some great pictures of the event and we are turning the shared photos into a collage in our lobby. On September 11, school will be closed for Professional Learning. We will also have our first Parent/Teacher Conference on September 28 and school will dismiss at noon on that Thursday.
I appreciate the efforts that parents are making to drop-off students on the appropriate sides of the school, 7th graders on the west side of the building and the 8th on the South. I know traffic is quite manic and I appreciate everyone driving safe and keeping an eye out of kids. We are continuing our “Dare to Go, 5 Below” attendance program this year. If students miss only one day a quarter, they will be entered into drawings for small prizes from Wild Bill’s Wings & Bowling. At the end of the year, if students miss five or less days of school for the whole year, their name will entered in a drawing to win a used car from Right Motors. I want to thank them for being partners with the school. We have some exciting things going on here at Adams Middle School this year. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me here at school. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and the schools number is 535-7112. I hope you have a great holiday.
