Why did you decide to enter the teaching profession? I like working with young people, and I am passionate about the subjects that I teach. I also had some really great teachers who left a mark on me (figuratively speaking, of course) : ) |

What do you enjoy most about teaching? I enjoy building relationships with students and helping students find something that they have a talent or interest in |

What is your favorite teaching moment? When students have an answer, comment, or idea that shows deep understanding—I like to be able to say, “gee, it’s getting deep in here!!”. |

What is your favorite method of teaching? I enjoy having discussions with students, especially when our focus is on literature. I love to hear their interpretations and/or perspectives on what we have read. |
