| What is your teaching
history? I taught at Brady Public Schools for 10 years. I taught for two months at Elwood Public Schools . I also did a long range substitute teacher position (one semester) at Maxwell Public Schools. I have been teaching at North Platte High School since 1989. While at Brady and Elwood, I taught English and French. Since being at North Platte, I have been teaching English, grades 10, 11. |

What college degrees do you have? I graduated from Kearney State College in May of 1979. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education. I have a teaching endorsement in English 7-12 and French 7-12. |
| What times are you
typically available during the day? Please keep in mind that events such as absences, meetings, etc. do occur (that's why the question says typically). 7:15 -7:55 and 3:30-4:00 everyday 8:51-9:38 Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8:00-9:28 on Thursday |
| What are your
extracurricular responsibilities? I am member on the SAC team and I am also a building representative for the NPEA. |

Why did you decide to enter the teaching profession? My English and French teachers in high school and college had a big influence on my decision. Their enthusiasm for the subject matter spilled over to me. |

What do you enjoy most about teaching? I love the students and working with them. I love their high levels of energy. There is something new I can learn from them daily. |

What is your favorite teaching moment? I love it when the students share their ideas with me. I like it when they can teach me or show me a new way to teach the literature. |

What is your favorite method of teaching? Working side by side with the students. I like to give examples and then have them use their talents to finish the assignment. |
