What is your occupational history?

Served 20 years in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist, Law Enforcement Specialist and Unit 1st Sergeant. As a Law Enforcement Specialist, performed patrol, desk sergeant, and flight chief duties. Also served as NCO in Charge of Base Confinement, Security Police Investigations, Law Enforcement Operations, Elite Gate Guard, and Wing Exercise and Evaluation Teams. Upon retiring from the United States Air Force, I held positions as a private investigator, Loss Prevention Manager and Nebraska Department of Corrections Caseworker.

What college degrees do you have?

BS Human Resources Management, Park College
AA Criminal Justice, Community College of the Air Force.

What times are you typically available during the day?

7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

What are your extracurricular responsibilities?

I am involved in Crime Stoppers, The Learning Center Board, Child Abuse/Neglect, and Citizens’ Alcohol and Drug Forum.

Why did you decide to enter the teaching profession?

I decided to join because the job description seemed to suit my personality and skill set.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

Talking to students about our issues.

What is your favorite teaching moment?

My favorite teaching moment is watching students discover the miracle of homework and extracurricular activities.
