Please keep in mind that events such as absences, meetings, etc. do occur (that's why the question says typically).

Generally at school from 7:30 - 4:30.

Why did you decide to enter the teaching profession?

I enjoyed the subject matter that I taught, enjoyed my high school experience and wanted to help high school students to have that same positive experience that I had. I would have to give somewhat the same answer for why I became an administrator. In addition, I enjoyed the responsibility as a coach of being responsible for a program and feel the same way about a school. I love what I do and enjoy coming to work each and every day. Each day is unique, interesting and challenging.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

The fact that my day is not routine. Each day is unique and presents new and different challenges. I enjoy trying to work through the concerns and developments of each day.

What is your favorite teaching moment?

Seeing students and teachers experience success. That most certainly means different things to different people. We all hope that we are preparing our students to become productive, happy and successful adults who somehow help to make the world a better place for all of us.
