What is your teaching history? Started at North Platte High School in 2006-07

What college degrees do you have? I attended University of Nebraska at Kearney. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Mathematics.

| What times are you
typically available during the day? Please keep in mind that events such as absences, meetings, etc. do occur (that's why the question says typically). I am available from 7:15-8:00. I coach after school.

| What are your
extracurricular responsibilities? Assistant Cross Country Freshman Girls Basketball Varsity Girls Hurdles

Why did you decide to enter the teaching profession? My teachers in high school made a very big impact on me and I wanted to do the same for other students.

What do you enjoy most about teaching? I really enjoy coaching and watching them excel.
|
|
What is your favorite teaching moment? The look on my math students’ faces when they finally understand a problem that they have been working on.
|
|
What is your favorite method of teaching? I like the traditional lecture and notes. I have tried to “spice” it up with powerpoints and unconventional ways, but my students really seem to like the old fashioned way. Whatever works for them is the way I will teach, that is what is important.
