Alan November graced the stage of North Platte High School on February 27th and shared his wonderful wit and wisdom on education and the role that technology can play in the learning process. Alan addressed issues such as internet literacy, digital citizenship, and creating jobs for students so that they can contribute in a meaningful way.
The afternoon gave staff members an opportunity to attend teacher driven workshops that introduced clickers, SMART Boards, and web 2.0 technologies such as podcasting, blogging, movie making, and online assessments.
