How do I transfer my child in-district?
December 27, 2007
You will need to start this process at your child's home school. The decision if your child can be accepted at the school you wish to transfer to is based on enrollment numbers at each grade level. Once the transfer has been approved, your child will be able to stay at that school for the entire year. However, an in-district transfer will need to be reapplied for each school year. Your child will not be automatically guaranteed a spot at the new school you have transferred to for subsequent years. Should there be an increase of new students entering that grade level who are actual residents of that particular school community, they will receive preference.
