Where do I get a work permit for my child?

Work permits are processed at the main office at the high school. Students age 14 & 15 who wish to work are required to complete a work permit. After students turn 16 they no longer need a permit on file. You must have a job to get a work permit. Each certificate is good for 1 year. Evidence of age can be school records if the student is enrolled in North Platte Public Schools, otherwise they will need a learner's permit, birth certificate or passport.
