Starting with the Class of 2009 students who wish to graduate with Highest Distinction must rank in the top 5% of their graduating class, cumulative GAP of at least 3.85, and complete his/ her 8th semester as a full time student at NPHS. Students must also go beyond the required hours in Core Subject Areas.
Highest Distinction in Social Studies includes 40 credits plus one at least one of the following: A.P. Government, A.P. US History, Sociology and/ or Psychology
